Terms of Service

Pre-launch preview. This page describes how the preview actually behaves today. It has not been reviewed by counsel, and the operating entity and game-service licence required by Decree 147/2024/NĐ-CP are not yet in place — so nothing here should be read as the final terms of a licensed Vietnamese game service.
TiệmNet is a browser games site. These terms describe what the service is, what is expected of a player, and what we do not do. They are short on purpose.
What the service is
TiệmNet hosts original mini-games written by us, in genres many players remember from internet cafés. They are our games under our own names. They are not copies of, and are not affiliated with, any other game, studio or publisher.
The service is free to play. There is no purchase, no in-game currency bought with money, and no wagering of anything of value. Nothing on this site is gambling, and nothing on it pays out.
Accounts and age
You can play every game without an account. An account exists so a score can carry your name, and so progress survives a new device.
At first sign-in you are asked whether you are under 18. That answer is stored once and cannot be edited from the site, because it governs the playtime limits below. If it was answered wrongly, contact us and we will correct it.
Players recorded as minors are limited to 60 minutes per game and 180 minutes per day, counted on the Vietnam day (UTC+7), as Decree 147/2024/NĐ-CP requires. The counter is shown while you play.
Fair play
Scores are bound to a server-issued session and checked for plausibility before they reach a board. Some boards additionally re-run your recorded inputs on the server and reject any run that does not reproduce. Boards say which kind they are; we do not describe a board as verified unless it is.
Modifying a game, automating play, or submitting a score you did not earn will have the score removed, and may have the account suspended. Every rejection is logged with enough context to support an appeal — if you think a score was removed wrongly, write to us.
Your content and ours
The games, art, music, text and code are ours or properly licensed to us. You may play them; you may not copy, host or redistribute them.
A display name you choose is yours. Keep it civil: names that impersonate someone, harass, or carry unlawful content will be reset.
Availability, and changes to these terms
This is a preview. Games, boards and accounts may change or be reset without notice, and the service may be unavailable.
If these terms change materially, the date at the top changes and the change is described in the site's public repository history.
